Exposure comes with a variety of faces, and some of them are more obvious than others. Here are a few ways to gain exposure for your company that you may not have thought about yet.
Prepare a Webinar
Webinars are excellent ways to show your target audience exactly what you're all about. They're almost exactly like business meetings, only instead of having to collect everyone in a room, people can simply join a chatroom to see a presentation. Everything else works the same. You can still ask questions, view the presentation, talk to other people in the room, and even see the person that's making the presentation. They're excellent ways to connect people when they may be far away or too busy to leave the comforts of their office (or living room, as the case may be). If you still aren't convinced, consider this: have you ever found that your shyness gets in the way of giving the best speech you could possibly give in front of an audience, or the noise distracts you? This way, you can just keep talking - just like you're talking to yourself - until you're completely done with what you have to say. Make sure you have a comprehensive Q&A at the end so you can prove to people that you are, indeed, an expert.
Find Someone to Interview You That Can Use Your Expertise
You're an expert, too. You may have a lot to learn, but you also have a ton to offer. When you want to gain even more exposure to your company, you can volunteer to be the person interviewed. Seek out companies that don't compete with your company that may be able to use your advice on their blog. Ask that they include a link to your website, and if they agree, do the interview for free. It's a win-win situation and all involved will benefit greatly from your willingness to present your expert advice.
